Job summary

Summary

• The ITS Technical Coordinator is in charge of providing support to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) / Head of ITS by:
·         Providing technical expertise on Architecture schemes and decision for the ITS (IT Production Services – Infrastructure) department
·         Manage and provide expertise for key ITS Project deliveries for the Bank

GIT ITS Americas Department Overview
·         ITS stands for Information Technology Production Services
·         IT Production Services is in charge of both Run the Bank (RTB) and Change the Bank (CTB) activities related to all of Americas IT Infrastructure.
·         ITS is in-charge of the design and production of infrastructures, the production of GIT applications, the setup of technical security systems and backup plans.
·         ITS supports users (~1200) and systems of 11 sites throughout the Americas.
·         The technical infrastructure spread across three data centers, two in New Jersey and a smaller footprint in the New York office.
The technologies used encompasses core infrastructures (Systems, Storage, Database, Network, and Security), end user services (Citrix, VDI, and communication services), Monitoring Tools and applications and associated infrastructure (middleware platforms such as Control-M, MQ, CFT, Connect-Direct).

Key Responsibilities

·        Architecture related activities:
-       Be knowledgeable of the Bank Infrastructure layers (with a focus on network but not only) 
-       Design architecture schemes for ITS projects for US and Americas region
-       Review architecture design provided by our Head Office
-       Be a SPOC (Single point of Contact) for Americas for Head office to ITS topics.
-       Continuous improvement for ITS setup within Americas
-       To answer to Audit questions internal and external including regulators
-       Partner and coordinate with ISS department on ITS solutions

·        Project management related activities: acting as Project Manager / PMO on ITS projects:
-       This includes, when applicable, change management activities (including roles and responsibilities, creation of service level agreements, review of current processes, definition of target processes and organization…); project scoping, planning and monitoring; define risk analysis on the different IT activities involved in the IT projects; organization of training as well as User Acceptance Testing.
-       Define, communicate & support standards across local Global IT division in line with System Product Life Cycle and Global GIT project management methodology.

Key Responsibilities Continued:

-       Ensure adherence to the System Project Life Cycle (SPLC) and produces or assists in the production of key deliverables defined by the SPLC.

-       Implements and develops improvements based on LEAN-CA-CIB best practices

-       Organize working, project and steering committees.

-       Ensure that all system implementations meet US regulatory standards (inclusive of cybersecurity requirements) and done in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

-       Collaborate with NY Internal Auditors in their pre-implementation review.

 

·         Assist and provide expertise to CTO for any strategic or key requests

Management and Reporting

 

This position will report directly to the CTO of the Bank (Head of the ITS department)

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• Must be a bachelors’/engineering graduate

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in managing Network/Security or Infrastructure environment with about 3-5 years of experience in financial institutes

Required skills

Technical expertise on architecture layouts for network

 

Infrastructure experience (Build, Run)

 

Project Management on IT Infrastructure projects

Technical skills required

 

Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Visio, Power Point, Word

 
 

Soft skills:

o    Strong written and verbal communication skills

o    Good organizational skills with attention to detail

o    Ability to analyze and summaries information
