Summary

Crédit Agricole CIB’s Aviation Group Asia-Pacific provides a wide range of financing, derivatives and advisory solutions to airlines, leasing companies and investors based in the region. The trainee will support the head of the team and other front officers by contributing to credit analyses and client reviews, transaction structuring and execution and will manage KYC reviews. The role will also include support for marketing and origination actions, industry/market research and the team's corporate planning.

The ideal candidate should complete their graduation requirements and is available to start the position by August 2025. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit proposals and existing transactions reviews (incl. industry, corporate and asset research, financial analysis and projections, calculation of profitability KPIs) and coordinate the process with the Risks teams.
     
  • Origination support: assist with transaction evaluation initiatives (assets, credit, etc.); prepare marketing materials, financial proposals and pitches; assist front officers in drafting termsheets and reviewing legal documentation; support execution process.
     
  • Actively contribute to KYC reviews of clients and borrowers, in coordination with Compliance teams.
