Job summary

The Programme

 

Our Summer 2025 Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build essential business acumen, and gain insight into our departments. For eight to twelve weeks, you will join the Distribution and Asset Rotation Department, where you will develop your skills under the mentorship of business leaders and experienced colleagues.

 

Your role will involve meaningful tasks with clear objectives and goals, providing real responsibility from day one. Beyond your team, you will connect widely across the organisation through networking events with senior leaders and colleagues, training sessions, and a local  charity initiative, all while building strong connections within the summer internship cohort.  

 

By the end of the summer internship programme, you will have gained invaluable insights and particular skills to set you up for a successful career after graduation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Spend 1 week shadowing each team within DAR UK:

    o    Credit Risk Insurance (CRI)

    o    Secondary Loan Optimisation and Trading (SLOT)

    o    Corporate, FI and Export Finance Distribution

    o    Project Finance Distribution

    o    Leveraged Distribution

     

    ·  Help any of the above in specific requests they might have

 

Candidate Criteria

 

To be eligible for the programme, you must be an undergraduate who will be returning to University after you have completed the internship. No previous experience is required, we are looking for students who are intrigued and motivated to learn more about the technology and financial world and are committed to learning more about a specific business area.

 

The below skills will be essential:

 

- Trustworthy, reliable;

- Work under pressure, able to prioritise;

- Good communication / inter-personal skills / team player;

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
