Job summary
Summary
Credit Agricole CIB is seeking an Associate I to work within its Global Investment Banking Department in New York, NY on the
origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions.
This M&A Associate position requires strong leadership qualities, good business “instinct”, and the ability to work independently
and on many projects with different team members.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with various sectors and product teams to execute buy-side and sell-side M&A
- Extensive financial modeling in preparing company-specific financial analysis and conducting valuation analysis using
various methodologies - Review valuation models including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout analysis, merger plans
- Manage projects in a client-facing role, including liaising with clients, potential buyers, clients’ other advisors, and team
members from across the bank - Participate in business and financial due diligence involving interaction with management teams, accountants, lawyers,
consultants and customers - Liaise with coverage, sales and trading professionals and other product groups in preparing transactions and other ad hoc requests
- Training and supervision of junior resource
Salary Range: $150k-$175k
