Job summary
Summary
The Trainee will assist the Head of Communications for Asia-Pacific to develop and implement internal and external communications strategies and plans across the region. In cooperation with the Communications team in APAC, the incumbent will have a key focus on event management, social media and branding-related initiatives.
Based in Hong Kong, we expect the selected candidate to commence employment as soon as possible.
Eligible candidates should complete their degree requirements by March 2025 and are ready to start working from April 2025 onwards. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Events Management
- Assist in organising external client events and internal staff activities in Hong Kong, including but not limited to
- External: Business luncheon, client entertainment e.g. golf, art performance/show and cocktail reception, CSR partnership
- Internal: staff volunteer works, townhall and annual dinner
- Support events in other locations in APAC from HK as and when needed
Social Media
- Content creation for CACIB social media channels: LinkedIn, Twitter/X, WeChat; coordinate with Head Office on content approval and scheduling of posts
Branding
- Design and create visuals for communications materials such as event related collaterals, email communications, social media posts, marketing collaterals and advertisements in cooperation and conjunction with the relevant Head Office Communications competence centres.
General Communications Activities
- Support the Team’s day-to-day communication actions including content creation (English and French), media and social media monitoring as and when needed
- Support ad hoc and on-going communications tasks as and when needed

Technical skills required
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must
- Proficiency in graphic software such as Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop, and video editing tools is highly preferred
- Knowledge in banking and finance is a plus
Languages
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and French; Chinese is preferred but not mandatory
