About the Role:

As a Credit Middle Office Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Global Markets Division trading desks. You will ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions, working with products such as Bonds, CDS, CDS Indices, Synthetic and Cash CDOs, Index Tranches, Swaps, FRAs, and Strips.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Control Functions: Validate trades, manage distressed assets, and monitor STP flows.
Support Functions: Handle novations, failed trades, funding/re-financing, and syndication fees.
Credit & Succession Events: Manage and prioritize requests related to Credit Events, coordinating with various support teams.
Projects and Ad Hoc Requests: Participate in systems projects, stock reconciliation, and post-incident investigations.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Essential: Degree in maths or finance (or similar)

Desirable: Educated to MA level in a finance/business discipline or equivalent

Experience

Essential: Good knowledge of credit products: bonds and CDS.

Desirable: Middle Office / Back Office / Trade Support experience
