Job summary

The position will be supporting the Human Resources Generalist team comprising of HR Business partners and officers. From time to time, there might be support required for the Learning & Leadership team as well. 

 

Eligible candidates should complete their degree requirements by June 2025 and are ready to start working from July 2025 onwards. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall administrative support to the HR Business partners and analysts, in ensuring a smooth overall operational workflow in various areas
  • Create people profiles and maintain a real-time update to our internal people systems, such as IPL, Mercure and other new to be launched systems – timely and accurate maintenance and is the key success factor for this task
  • Support the preparation of local employment contracts and be involved in the onboarding process for new joiners. Over time, be able to generate employment contracts independently
  • Manage probation review letters as necessary in a timely and effective manner, also leading to relevant system updates.
  • Conduct and coordinate reference check requests for new hires and/or respond to incoming reference check request for ex-staff within the agreed timeframe and frequency.
  • Maintain human resources related reports and tracker in a timely manner including but not limited to bankruptcy report and staff movement log.
  • Partner with external visa consultant and support the end-to-end visa application and renewal logistic as required. 
  • Provide other ad-hoc, logistical and administrative support for the human resources activities in Hong Kong and the Region
  • Get involved, as required, in scheduling interviews for managers within various business lines
  • Support the campus HRBP on various trainee related initiatives and recruitment fairs, CV screening and ad-doc support as required
  • Respond to queries from staff in Hong Kong on relevant topics.
