2025 Global Markets Division - Summer Intern Program
Dates: June – August 2025

 

Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate & Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, offering clients a range of services in capital markets, investment banking, structured finance, and corporate banking. With a presence across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, the Bank supports clients in large international markets.

 

The 10-week Summer Intern Program immerses participants in the day-to-day activities of the Global Markets Division, comprising Sales, Trading, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Securitization, and Structuring. Interns are assigned to specific teams while also benefiting from job shadowing across the division. The program includes formal training, networking, and speaker series, alongside mentorship from senior and junior professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities by Team:

1. Global Markets Sales (GMS):
• Provide pre- and post-trade support to sales staff.
• Assist in data analysis, report preparation, and client-facing presentations.
• Gain insights into Credit Risk and FX products while analyzing market trends.

 

2. Global Markets Trading (GMT):
• Support trading desks with trade entries, P&L reconciliation, and position management.
• Collaborate with traders to ensure accurate pricing and risk management of transactions.

 

3. Debt Capital Markets (DCM):
• Assist with market updates, due diligence, and transaction approvals.
• Develop credit analysis and maintain internal databases.

 

4. Securitization:
• Support structuring of secured financing solutions across trade receivables, loans, and energy assets.

 

5. Structuring:
• Work on derivative-based hedging and customized investment solutions for clients.
