· To support Senior Banker and Global Relationship Manager in screening the requests received from the clients, the business lines and the network, in coordination with business lines and product lines, based on :
- the business opportunity and the profitability of the relationship, and
- the impact on the global set of limits
· To assist in formalizing the Coverage and the Business Lines credit applications including new requests and annual reviews, providing to RPC:
- a detailed description and background explanation on the proposed transaction or facility
- a presentation of the global set of the Group limits, its utilization and the changes requested
- a general presentation of the counterparty and its group; the last significant changes since last credit review, and budget/forecast of the Coverage team on the relationship
- a justification of the Bank balance sheet usage, and global profitability of the relationship
- a detailed analysis on the financial performance of the counterparties
· To maintain the efficient credit process with system tracking including:
- creation of credit file in Phidias and sending of the formal request to RPC through Phidias
- following up with local booking approval in overseas branches
· To work on Know Your Customer of new onboarding, KYB and/or location modification, annual review in DOT and coordinate with FCS, KYC, Financial Security teams to ensure the efficient process
· To maintain client relationship on daily basis including:
- Supporting in coordinating meeting appointments with external clients
- Updating clients database (Anadefi / Beyond ClientLive / Sanctions / industry news etc.) periodically
- Preparing internal MI material and external client pitching presentation
- Handling client’s day-to-day transaction inquiries, including audit confirmation, loan drawdown, deposits placements, etc.
· To comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the China Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
To maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
To support China TMT Coverage team during the client lifecycle including onboarding, account opening, credit due diligence, and implementation process.
To support China TMT Coverage team in client relationship management on daily basis.
To coordinate with various functions of CACIB China as well as overseas branches of CACIB and CA Group on daily client requests.
-Business acumen and knowledge of TMT sector is preferred
-Experience in banking industry required with minimum 3-5 years
-Ability to work on industry analysis and financial analysis with academic background in economics, finance, accounting preferred
-Strong interpersonal communication skills with problem solving capabilities
-Ability on multi-tasking and working under pressure and tight deadlines
-Fluent in English and Chinese n writing and speaking
