Job summary

Summary
Assist and support the Relationship Managers (“RM”) and/or the Head of HK Corporate Group to manage a portfolio of corporate clients of CACIB HK.
 
The ideal candidate should have already completed all bachelor/master degree requirement by now and will be ready to start working from June 2025 onwards. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.
 
Key Responsibilities

Either through his/her own action or under the guidance of the RMs / Head of HK Corporate Group:

  • Handle Know Your Customer (“KYC”) on-boarding /periodic review on a timely basis, including liaising with clients and all internal related departments.
  • Make sure compliance principles, internal and external rules/ regulations are applied in assisting in managing the business relationship, doing KYC due diligence, and handling the daily transactions with clients.
  • Liaise with operations and product teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to clients in the portfolio.
  • Report to the RM on administrative issues to be solved, commercial incident and significant change in client’s facility utilization and on information regarding business opportunity with clients.
  • Assist in preparing credit packages and follow through the credit approval process till activation of the facilities.
  • Assist in documentation negotiation for account opening or credit facilities from time to time.
  • Assist in preparing call reports, briefing memos, pitch books and internal reports as directed by RMs and Head of HK Corporate Group.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • University Degree or professional qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics or related disciplines with less than 12 months' full-time experiences

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Experience

  • Some experience in credit and/or conducting KYC and/or customer service, preferably in corporate banking field and with exposure to corporates in Hong Kong
  • Corporate banking product knowledge and/or experience preferred – i.e. bank accounts, loans, trade finance, foreign exchange, syndications, cash management etc.

Required skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to details; good organization skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Team player

Technical skills required

  • Good credit analysis and report writing skills

Languages

Fluent in English, Cantonese, Putonghua
