Job summary

We are seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Corporate or Investment Banking team. This role requires a professional with a relevant degree, ideally with experience in structured lending within the property or hotel finance sectors. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with strong competencies in financial modelling and transaction execution.

 

Key Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

 

  • Conduct detailed credit and risk analysis to support lending decisions
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis
  • Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
  • Execute transactions efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and internal guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation and effective service delivery
  • Stay updated with market trends and product knowledge to enhance service offerings

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in corporate or investment banking, with a preference for those with structured lending experience in the property/hotel finance sectors

Required skills

• High level of attention to detail, resilience, and determination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced skills in credit and risk analysis, financial modelling, and transaction execution
• Strong client relationship skills and product knowledge

Technical skills required

• Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office and internet applications
