Exciting Long-Term Internship Opportunity at Crédit Agricole CIB!
Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey in the world of corporate finance? Join our dynamic corporate loan department in London for a long-term internship (12 months, extendable to 24 months). As an intern, you'll assist our team in originating syndicated and bilateral loans for large corporate clients across Western Europe (UK, Benelux, Nordics, and Switzerland), Central & Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Your Role: You'll play a crucial role in supporting senior officers and contributing to the success of our loan origination team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Senior Officers:
Assist in the origination of syndicated loan mandates.
Draft internal credit requests.
Conduct borrower research and comparable transaction analysis to assess and price new transactions.
Calculate transaction profitability using the Bank's internal tools.
Update the credentials database, including league tables and tombstones.
Help prepare regular activity reports and quarterly market reviews.
Special Role Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of banking experience, ideally with exposure to lending (e.g., structured/specialised/leveraged finance, loan syndication, corporate banking, credit) or corporate finance (corporate ECM/DCM, private equity, M&A).
Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
Attention to detail and the ability to produce impeccable work.
