Job summary

The European Corporate and EM Syndicate primarily covers Investment Grade Corporate clients worldwide to execute public primary bond mandates in both EUR & GBP markets and a more diversified
client base from Emerging Markets (Sovereigns, Public Agencies, Banks, Corporates, etc.) for USD, EUR & GBP markets

 

The Role

 

  • The candidate will assist the Syndicate Managers in their monitoring of markets, pricing updates and execution of mandates throughout the marketing, book-building and allocation stages.
  • Supporting Origination partners with pricing and advice for their clients with a view to growing the fee pipeline
  • This will mean keeping abreast with macro events and more specific corporate news, to assess how they impact markets and clients for future business

 

The Opportunity

 

  • From day one you will work on the Syndicate trading floor with the team, performing business
    critical tasks and gaining exposure to a wide spectrum of other functions & partners (Origination,
    Sales, Secondary Trading, Legal, etc.)
  • You will receive detailed training on the tasks directly from a very experienced team but are
    encouraged to bring your own ideas to the role, improving and growing the platform as the
    markets evolve
  • We will support you through your growth and try to give you every opportunity to experience the
    wider Markets platform, hopefully leading to a full time role within CACIB at the end of the
    internship
