Summary 

 

Credit Agricole CIB is seeking an Associate or Vice President to work within Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team on the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions ECM is within the broader Global Investment Banking (GIB) within Credit Agricole CIB.

This position requires strong leadership qualities, good business “instinct” and the ability to work independently; Ability to participate in the effective execution of transactions as well as in the production of new business efforts; and Ability to work on many projects with different team members.

In the ECM team, you will be involved in advising, structuring and executing a range of equity and equity-linked offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, ATMs, convertible bonds, share repurchases, for major corporations and sponsors looking to access the public markets.

 

Responsibilities

  

  • Work on the origination and execution of all ECM transactions (IPO, follow-on, convertible securities, ATMs and share repurchase) across all industry sectors
  • Manage projects in a client-facing role, including liaising with clients, lawyers, other banks, sales and trading professionals, and team members from across the bank
  • Participate in and supervise the production of commercial presentations to originate ECM mandates
  • Participate in business and financial due diligence involving interaction with management teams, accountants, lawyers, consultants and customers
  • Conduct sophisticated financial and structuring analysis, including valuation, eps accretion/dilution, cost of capital and hedging analyses
  • Detect business opportunities and exchange with senior ECM, coverage bankers, and product partners in relation to such opportunities
  • Liaise with coverage and product groups in preparing materials for client meetings and other ad-hoc requests
  • Participate in the supervision and training of junior resources

Salary Range: $240k-$260k
