Job summary

Summary

Project Management support to the Finance Division: assist the members of the division in the definition of their needs, follow up of implementation plans and coordination of the testing on IT Projects,
Provide support to Finance users on Oracle Financials, Business Object and Head-Office reporting: coordination with the IT department for improvements, assistance in developing, updating and amending automated reports for Finance Division members,
Maintain referential of application (signature authority,
The Associate reports to Head of Projects & Administration.
 

Key Responsibilities

Support and represent Finance users in projects
Build finance applications under the direction of the Head of P&A using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python,
Provide application support to Financial Division applications such as Oracle Financials, Leasequery, Business Objects, etc.
Perform application testing and write documentation on financial applications supported or developed.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate some understanding of financial division work.
Update the data referential in Oracle Financial
Close the monthly periods in coordination with the accounting department
Assist as administrator the procurement tool for the Americas

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• Bachelor in MIS or Data analytics.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

The candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience and will have experience in supporting similar teams in their day-to-day activities, using Business Objects and Oracle Financials products. Rigorous and autonomous, he/she will maintain the proper audit trail of the tasks, and produce and maintain appropriate procedures.

• Fluent in French and English.
• 3-4 years of experience programming.
• 2 years of VBA and Python.
• 1 year of SQL.
• Programming skills is required, knowledge of BusinessObjects and Oracle Financials applications support.
• Basic Accounting knowledge is desirable.
• Agile methodology is desirable.
• MS Office application development working knowledge, particularly Excel and MS Access, python.
• Experience with Leasequery or similar software
• Previous banking experience, and/or in a finance department
• Advanced programming and IT Helper
• Experience using BusinessObjects (or similar) as a tool to extract data.
