Missions

The Head of Treasury Japan is in charge of balance sheet management, compliance with regulatory ratios, HTC / HTCS portfolios and the proper execution of transactions / money market products authorized by the CACIB global liquidity policies and by MRC (Market Risk Department) for the APAC Treasury teams.

The position is also responsible for the quality of the Japan Treasury service with the businesses, the group's entities and the sales force in order to offer an adapted service (adequate pricing of transactions, identification of problems and management solutions, invoicing of liquidity, production of documents, etc.).

 

The position must also ensure strict compliance with operational management rules for Japan Treasury portfolios (eg market risk parameters, authorized products, LBF/Volcker mandates, etc.) and sign his commitment via MRL Tool.

 

In accordance with the local regulatory framework and internal procedures of CACIB, the Head of Treasury Japan must ensure that all members of his team are evaluated annually. This evaluation should cover both their performance, their skills and strict compliance of local regulation and internal guidelines.

Degree, preferably in a Mathematical/ Scientific area, or A-levels followed by appropriate market relevant working experience.

Experience

Experience in financial products, related Treasury/ risk management activities.

Expert for Trading and Risk Management.

Experience in all aspects of managing a team.

Experience in risk and managing Treasury books,.

Expected skills

An in-depth knowledge of the overall market.

IT literate

Thorough knowledge of financial derivatives including market liquidity (ability to enter or exit a position) and volatility (magnitude / speed of price change), pricing and executing/hedging strategies

Strong numeracy, analysis and spreadsheet skills.

Strong initiative

Team oriented

Excellent communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with other Senior Managers, Sales, Structures, and Quants.

Ability to think quickly, make decisions using good judgment and prioritize in busy situations.

Ability to remain calm under pressure
