Who we are

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (CA-CIB) is the CIB arm of Crédit Agricole Group, world’s 11th largest bank by total assets. 

Our Singapore center, Information Systems Asia Pacific (ISAP), is one of the 2 main IT Hubs for CA-CIB's worldwide business with over 1,200 IT staffs covering Production and Application Development activities. We work daily with international branches located in 33 countries by supporting their IT solutions and envisioning and developing the Bank’s futures information systems.

Within ISAP, the IT Production department (ITS) oversees IT Operations (RUN) for CACIB IT infrastructure in France, which is the main IT hub, and to a lower extent other geographies such as London and Singapore.
These activities cover the following technologies:

•       Core Infrastructure: Network, Security, Systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, Cloud), Storage and Backup
•       Middleware: Database (Oracle, SQL, Sybase), Big Data and production tools (Control-M, MQSeries, CFT, SharePoint, etc.)
•       Workplace: User Access Infrastructure (Citrix, VDI, etc) and Unified Communication systems
•       Application and Operations: technical support of CACIB applications (Capital Market, Corporate Banking, Risk and Finance) and control tower (Incident Management, Quality)

Infrastructure BUILD activities, such as architecture, design and project management, are managed by the teams based in Paris.


Position

The Head of IT Production Services leads a global team of approximately 260 support staff, responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of CACIB’s IT infrastructure, excluding the Americas region. This role holds global accountability for infrastructure RUN activities, with direct responsibility for infrastructure services across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Reporting locally to the Head of ISAP and functionally to the Head of IT Infrastructure Services (CACIB CTO) based in Paris, the position is a key member of both the ISAP senior management team and the global infrastructure management team.

Given the global scope and the location of key stakeholders in Europe, the role requires a high level of flexibility and commitment, including:
•       Availability for escalations during overnight hours and weekends, when necessary,
•       Willingness to participate in late meetings to accommodate time zone differences,
A strong sense of ownership and responsiveness in managing critical incidents and executive communications.
Main responsibilities

As the manager of his team, he / she:
•       Manages and controls the activity of his direct reports (manager of managers) and their departments,
•       Coaches and develops his direct reports and key resources,
•       Maximizes service quality and team productivity,
•       Promotes collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.


Supplementary Information

As the manager of his perimeter, he / she:
•       Manages a budget of 25 M€ and its internal recharging mechanisms with consistent focus on optimization,
•       Proposes and deploys transformation plans with a culture of continuously challenging existing organization and practices for improvement and cost control.
•       Owns and leads the resolution of major incidents and complex crises involving multiple CACIB teams across geographies and / or external vendors,
•       Optimizes the sourcing approach to maximize performance while ensuring sustainability of the model and adequate risk management,
•       Manages the relationship with partners and providers,
•       Represents his entity in the executive governance of the global IT and infrastructure groups and fosters constructive dialogue across the organization.

As a senior infrastructure leader, he / she:
•       Actively contributes to the definition and implementation of the global strategy of the infrastructure domain, in alignment with the global IT strategy.
•       Adapts and implements IT production strategy for his perimeter and the region,
•       Owns the “run the bank” for the infrastructure perimeter and supports the “change the bank” in close coordination with the Build teams based in Paris,
•       Actively contributes to transverse initiatives at both local and global level with the capability to lead some of them.

·         Maintains a close and proactive relationship with key executive stakeholders, including the COOs of APAC and Europe, business representatives, and IT management across regions.

·         Acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business, ensuring infrastructure services are aligned with operational needs and business priorities.

·         Animates and leads governance forums at regional and global levels, fostering transparency, accountability, and continuous dialogue between IT and business stakeholders.

·         Ensures effective communication and escalation management, providing visibility on service performance, transformation initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.

·         Promotes a customer-centric mindset within the infrastructure teams, ensuring responsiveness and value delivery to internal clients

Required skills

Qualifications and Profile

 

Functional

§  Relevant experience in Banking environment and knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking activities

 

Technical

§  Strong experience in IT Production activities

§  Overall knowledge and understanding of infrastructure technologies and products

§  Ability to interact and manage relationships and escalations with internal stakeholders and external vendors

§  Knowledge of ITIL and DEVOPS framework and tools.

§  Knowledge of Cloud and AI framework

 

 

Other Professional Skills and Mind-set

 

§  Minimum 15 years of experience in IT environment with minimum 10 years in managerial positions

§  Strong leadership with the ability to drive global and multicultural teams to results in an autonomous manner

§  Excellent communication skills and proactivity in the sharing of relevant information to various levels of stakeholders

§  Full proficiency in English (oral and written),

§  French language proficiency is required to effectively speak, understand and interact with French speaking count

§  Ability to work under pressure and prioritize activities to deliver results
