This position is responsible for: In house advisory on India taxation matters to CA CIB India management. Compliance for Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, RBI, FATCA and any other ad-hoc which includes computation, documentation, implementation, co-ordination and reporting to all related stake holders.
Main duties:
٭ Advising to CA-CIB group entities on Indian tax compliance.
٭ Intimating with implications major development in Indian taxation impacting CA-CIB India to management / business / operations.
٭ Optimization of tax flows and management of tax risk for bank &amp; group entity.   
٭ Ensuring statuary compliances of Direct and Indirect tax laws with or without the assistance of an external consultant
-  Statutory regulatory filings including coordination for filings like WHT returns, deposit details through operations
-  Getting necessary certificates from CA / Regulators
-  Representing the bank before various tax and appellate authorities
-   Replying notices

٭Review of Functional Analysis &amp; Supports for document maintenance for Transfer Pricing 
٭Calculation of tax provision including deferred tax &amp; advance tax liability 
٭Responsible for accounting of provisions and tax paid/ adjusted at year wise, reflecting the latest position
٭Ensuring that all tax communication (direct, indirect, TP) are maintained in digitized format for instant retrieval
٭Maintain tax procedures which are in line with current practices.
٭Preparing/reviewing submissions with respect to FATCA/AEOI.
٭Providing inputs with respect to tax clauses in the standard documents issued by the product control team /validating the diversion if any of the standard tax clause with client.
٭ Validation of contingent liability, demand refund summary provided by tax consultants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Are you our future VIE ?

Crédit Agricole CIB India is operating through 5 branches: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. It supports its corporate clients, both Indian and international, as well as the main financial institutions in India with a complete product offering from cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange and interest rate swaps, short and medium term financing in rupees and other currencies, to cross-border advisory services.
You will join our Mumbai team and assist the Senior Country Officer in various tasks and responsibilities from monitoring the business performance, to participating in managing the bank activity, contributing to the commercial strategy deployment, development projects and organisation improvements, under the SCO’s guidance.
You will be in close contact with Coverage team and business lines, as well Support Functions, APAC Chief of Staff team and /or Headquarter when necessary. You will also be participating to various business analysis.

Your concrete missions will be the following:
Support work on commercial strategy implementation inter alia in providing support the development of the clients’ base along with Coverage team, strategic projects and business development initiatives of CACIB India branch.
Coordinate implementation of those projects with relevant local and/or regional/HO teams  behalf of the SCO and under his guidance.
Monitor the ongoing deals, pipeline for India franchise.
Follow-up client revenues and profitability for India, prepare ad-hoc analysis.
Participate to budget exercise.
Prepare various presentations to both internal and external interlocutors.
Support work for SCO-related matters (mapping of competition, client info, etc).

To be eligible for a VIE: 
Be less than 28 years old
Be postgraduate of a Master degree
Be EU citizen

The CAO will oversee critical support functions including Financial Control Department, Secretarial work, Property &amp; Contract Services (PCS), Information &amp; Compliance Office (ICO), and Legal operations. This role serves as a strategic executive leader responsible for orchestrating and integrating all critical support functions that form the operational backbone of the organization. This role enables the Managing Director to focus on strategic platform development, organizational efficiency initiatives, and staff mentorship while ensuring operational excellence across support departments.
Missions
·        Operational Leadership (40%)
o    Provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of Finance, Secretarial, PCS, ICO, and Legal departments

Client service and Quality performance
o Ensure the provision of efficient, timely and error free processing services

o Ensure reduction in processing errors by staff engaged in processing the related

Responsibilities

3.       Keep an updated customer profile data base, answer client’s phone calls and make necessary actions to ensure that the complete and concise solutions/answers are provided on a timely basis.
4.       Deal with daily transactional works. Process the instructions received from clients including Payment, Loan &amp; Depo, L/C, Guarantee, FX deals, etc. and coordinate with operations.
5.       Account Management, Radical/RLC maintenance.
6.       Client on Boarding (KYC) controller.
7.       Follow up required transactional documents and its related matters (i.e. fax agreement, exceptional approval, etc.)
8.       Cross check and valid OPTIM contractual documentation.
9.       Department consolidation (bank statement reconciliation, fax indemnity etc.)
