For our German CLF-Corporates team, we are looking for a

VP / Director - Senior Originator - Corporate and Leveraged Finance (f/m/d)

Your mission

Actively originate and structure new transactions within the CLF-Corporates scope and execute these transactions independently.

Your key Responsibilities
Origination phase
Establish strong working relationships with the CLF (Origination) and DAR (Syndicate and Sales) teams, senior bankers and other business lines for a seamless and successful origination process; but also outside the bank, notably with clients
Generate ideas and prepare (acquisition) financing pitches including structuring and pricing in close collaboration with the other business lines of the bank (DAR, DCM, ECM, GIB, Rating Advisory) and also with the other product lines within CLF (LBO and telecoms)
Participate in client meetings with senior bankers and other business lines
Maintain close relationships with legal and debt advisors and other banks in the region
Execution phase 
Lead the drafting/negotiation of mandate and commitment papers (particularly term sheets) and negotiate the loan documentation with the client and/or lawyer (coordinator / doc agent roles)
Run alongside DAR Syndicate and sales teams the syndication process (including preparation of marketing materials and managing of Q&amp;A process)
Lead and review the drafting of CLF requests (risk analysis, sector analysis, transaction structure, development of bank cases and sensitivity cases, etc.) and coordinate the
Review financial models, if and where relevant, with a particular focus on cash flow analysis and financial projections, incl. the assessment of clients’ (rating based) debt capacity and identification of ideal financing structures

Main Responsibilities

·       Work with the Product Owner (PO) to prioritize requirements and decompose them into detailed user stories, ensuring a clear roadmap for development. 
·       Translate requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, including detailed descriptions of user interactions, data flows, and system behavior.
·       Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the software design aligns with the functional specifications and meets the defined requirements.

Summary of the position

Processing/validate SG/HK/AUS trade commodities transactions (import letter of credit issuance, financing, guarantee issuance, export letter of credit advising, payment)
Vetting of LC text and assist client in any queries related to their transactions
Perform document checking for both import/export LC documents
Perform price reasonable checks on commodity goods 
Or
Act as a liaison officer liaising with the processing center and coordinate with internal and external client related to all trade related transaction


Main Responsibilities

Ensure Back-Office processing of transactions and manage Operational risk


(a)   within acceptable technical risks and in compliance with bank’s rules and operation procedures
(b)   in conformity with conditions of transaction details
(c)   timely and accurately in relevant systems with correct data and posting of entries to P&amp;L accounts
(d)   timely and accurately in all life events including payment, funding and resolution of suspense items


Provide good customer services by maintaining good relationship with external and internal parties

Main Responsibilities Details
First check and/or counter-check import/export LC documents according to UCP600
Review customer applications and clarify with customers on ambiguous terms, if any
Ensure transactions are processed in conformity with transaction details
Monitor payment/acceptance of import/export bills and ensure notice of refusal are sent within time allowed as per documentation
Ensure data and accounting entry input into BO system are accurate
Perform compliance check and vessel screening
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Agency &amp; Transaction Management
Confirmation and monitoring of Conditions Precedent (CPs) prior to loan activation
Monitoring scheduled activities across loan portfolios including drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and interest settlements
Liaising with Borrowers and Lenders to ensure timely execution of loan lifecycle events
Coordinating with external legal counsel on facility documents, amendments, waivers and legal consents
Working closely with Front Office and Credit Monitoring Risk team to ensure all relevant approvals and signoffs are obtained for any Agency-led decisions.
Provide input and comments on loan documentation (Agency/Participation/Bilateral facilities)
Monitor and oversee the processing of loan related activities including drawdown, rollover, fee/interest apportionment, repayments, etc.
Ensure loan portfolio remains accurate and compliant within internal banking systems
Monitor Borrowers compliance with submission of documentary and financial covenants and process/coordinate waiver request if required
Attend to queries from Borrowers, Lenders, Investors, and transactional partners in a timely and professional manner
Support the operational management of credit risk insurance arrangements linked to financing transactions, including coordination with the insurers, monitoring policy conditions, premium payments, and insured exposure reporting



2. Business Partnership and Stakeholder Coordination
Partner closely with Front Office and Coverage teams to support deal execution and ensure operational readiness for new transactions
Provide operational guidance during the structuring and closing phases of transactions to ensure efficient implementation

3. Cash Transactions and Client Services
Providing indicative loan or deposit rates to clients on a daily or weekly basis where required
Liaise with Treasury for base rates and confirm applicable margins with Front Office prior to communicating to clients
Coordinate with Finance where large transactions require monitoring of regulatory or prudential ratios
Managing bilateral loans and deposits processing for clients in scope
Respond to Client’s queries relating to account balances, facility utilization, account statement, and audit confirmations
Provide client services and support for cash management activities where applicable.



4. Risk, Controls, &amp; Governance
Ensure that all transactions are executed within approved credit approval conditions, documentation, target operating model and regulatory frameworks
Monitor portfolio triggers, utilization, and exception items with timely escalation where necessary, and prepare portfolio monitoring reports

Key Responsibilities

Support execution of live transactions of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets
Spearhead preparation of marketing documents and financial models
Support preparation of transaction documents including teaser, information memoranda and management presentation
Develop and lead on company analysis and advanced financial analysis
Lead preparation and organization of due diligence processes via virtual data rooms
Client interaction


Your profile &amp; skills

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant investment banking experience
Hold a qualifying academic degree in Finance with excellent academic background
Strong M&amp;A execution experience with financial sponsors and corporates (deal sheet required)
Excellent analytical, modeling and communication skills
Dedication and ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
Reliable, motivated and detail-oriented team player
Highly proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in English and German are required

Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a senior lead project manager to manage the Project management (PM) team and to drive the complex programs/projects, part of the control tower section.
Mission: by mobilizing and managing project teams and contributors, you will conduct projects from inception to completion, to reach the project goals in terms of quality, planning and budget.
Within an international environment, you will have to liaise with all kind of stakeholders and align your resources to the target set together with the business in order to meet the bank objectives.
Main responsibilities
§  Manage the list of CIB IT projects, collaborating with leadership across the departments and prioritize projects based on the business need.
§  Direct the work of Project managers and provides managerial oversight for multiple projects
§  Act as point of escalation for the Project management team.
§  Create and develop a governance structure for efficient stakeholder management
§  Promote the project management service
§  Develops organizational project management capabilities through training, coaching, and individual meetings/discussions
§  Develop strategy for control and governance structures to ensure desired outcomes across the projects
§  Monitor and analyse project metrics and to propose improvements and cost savings for future projects
§  Ensure successful delivery of all projects against cost, time, scope, quality and security measures
§  Operate autonomously and handle large scale APAC/EMEA regional IT projects by understanding local regulations.
§  Clarify the needs of the client and translate them into rigorous requirement lists
§  Identify standard and project specific deliverables, key assumptions, follow and mitigate risks and issues
§  Anticipate early in the project any compliance / regulatory requirement and start informing stakeholders of such risk and measure their impact
§  Define, measure and report project KPI with right level of information
§  Identify right resource within teams and constitute / coordinate project team members
§  Report or escalate any important risk and issues to Sponsor and local management for appropriate action
§  Create, review or adapt when necessary existing processes to make them more relevant, efficient and optimal
§  Communicate to Sponsor any change with right level of information and manage to get his approval
§  Follow, report budget actual/forecast to project stakeholders and local management
§  Set relevant control in place to ensure that what has been delivered meets requirements validated
§  Manage and document the project hand over with production teams

Sybase &amp; PostgreSQL team in Singapore is responsible for day-to-day operational services on the infrastructure of Europe (mainly France , UK) and Asia remotely from Singapore. France infrastructure represents approximately 80% of the worldwide production activities of CA-CIB in Singapore

·         Sybase &amp; PostgreSQL  Expert is a technical expert role within the Database  team and will be responsible for managing, administration and supporting the Sybase &amp; PostgreSQL Database technologies for the bank. 
·         He/She will be the technical point of contact for the Run team. 
·         He/She will be a technical L3 resource for Sybase &amp; PostgreSQL database services in CA-CIB. As such, he/she will provide support for all production support activities within the Database team in Singapore. 
·         He/She is accountable for the overall health and stability of the technical solutions within his scope. 
·         He/She has to effectively work with technical peers such as architects, peer experts and project teams on technology road maps and projects. 
·         He/She will work with L3/Service Manager to gain control over the scope of technical activities, develop best practices and gain knowledge over all aspects of support.


Scope of duties:

Job Responsibilities
The Expert has a wide spectrum of responsibilities and actions. Person will be responsible for following (but not limited to) responsibilities in day-to-day work:
As the Expert of the team, he/she:
·         act as the last level of escalation for the team members
·         own Incident, Problem and change management process for the team
·         assigns technical tasks and manages delegation
·         animates the team to encourage collaboration and sharing of practices
·         participates to recruitment process for the team

As the Expert of his/her scope of activity, he/she:
·         is actively involved in incident management (fault investigation, resolution escalations of all monitoring alerts and user initiated problem calls/tickets) and request management
·         Is the final technical approver for any changes into Sybase and PostgreSQL technology  and is accountable for any technical changes in the environment from a RUN/BAU perspective
·         Is involved in projects like End of Life, New Builds, migrations and technical upgrades of the solution managed by the team
·         Participates in global Infra events (like Power down and DR Tests)
·         ensures activity is performed in compliance with norms, standards, processes and procedures
·         ensures documentation is up to date and relevant for use
·         lead the continuous improvement initiatives
·         responsible to drive and deliver root cause for any high severity issues
·         Focus on automation and optimum use of the team to improve efficiency
